Taking inspiration from the karlakattai system, the exercises in this program will bring a new dimension to your club swinging!
All the exercises are done as ”hand to hand”, meaning that we switch grips each repetition.

On top of full body strength, endurance and well being, you can expect to develop fantastic levels of coordination, timing, dexterity and flow.

This video course is intended for people who have some experience with Indian clubs/ clubbells, as we cover complex patterns and exercises involving shoulder, elbow and wrist joints, all done in multiple planes of motion.

You’ll find suggestions as to how to structure different types of workouts. We even have a FREE trial with a support group to help you along the learning process.

Ace of Clubs | Hand to hand club swinging exercises

In the Ace of clubs,  we cover 14 advanced Indian club exercises that will show you the true richness and variety of this ancient art.
While the classic back circles are still present on the list, you will be swinging in all 5 swinging planes, and also include wrist circles.

We complement the club exercises with a classic bodyweight exercise that you either love or hate, the burpee, and its Kushti wrestling counterpart, the sapate. You can choose from 10 burpee variations, and for those of you that train with kettlebells/ dumbbells, we have that covered with 5 variations as well.

Program options

You’ll be able to structure your workouts based around timed sets or around repetitions in ways, people familiar with kettlebells, will probably recognize!

Like many of our other programs, the training templates include an element of controlled randomness to keep things interesting. This is also a sneaky way to force you to challenge your fitness levels.
However, you are not locked into a rigid program. You can still chose to train for short or longer sessions. You can also simply use the exercises in the program to complement your sport or current strength training routine.

Who is it for?

The Ace of clubs program is the next step for people who have done our 5 day introduction course to heavy club swinging, or participated in our 21 day challenge. We do not recommend it for new beginners.

Since some of the exercises involve the wrists, it is also recommended that you have access to either a light and medium weight club to learn technique in the safest way.
Both our Pahlavandle TG and Pahlavandle XL are perfect options for this program.

Free trial with support group

When you purchase and download the Ace of clubs, you have the possibility of joining us on a 4 week online course to learn and perfect the exercises in an online group setting.

The first week of the course is open to everybody, as a free trial. If you want to carry on and get the full experience, you will have to purchase the full version.

What to expect

During week 1-3, Thierry is going to present you with one club exercise a day. The format is on the low intensity side of things, and is conductive to learning.

There will be a short video on weekdays, of about about 10 minutes, and a 20 minute workout video on the weekends. This daily easy paced course won’t interrupt your regular training schedule.

On the 4th week, we’ll do 3 different types of workouts of about 30 minutes. Trust the process, you can do this!

    This full body program is designed to improve your strength, cardiovascular fitness, coordination, mobility and quality of movement with a simple and effective approach.

    The exercises we picked involve full brain and body integration, and will restore your energy, vitality and sense of well being!
